Proposition 76

The "California Live Within Our Means Act." This one over time will gradually reduce the amount of money that the state is required to provide for schools. This measure will also divert certain school funds to transportation, and will give Arnie the powers to make the state assembly his personal B _ _ _ _.

  • Mr. Kunkle the assembly needs to be someone's b---- and they might as well be Arnold's. This state has had out of control spending since the late '90's. It is time to do something about it. The Legislature has proven that it has no fiscal discipline. Somebody needs to slap this state into reality.

  • I agree, but we cannot allow anyone, not even the governor, to use the initiative process to manipulate the ASSembly. On camera appeal has no precedence over common sense, and Arnie's poorly designed initiatives prove this. I oppose these initiatives, but I also intend to vote for Schwartzenegger if he runs again. His reform platform is valid, but these initiatives were clownish. He's better than that.
