Burning the midnight oil
Councilman Seyarto spent 36 hours stick time on a computer checking the minutes of council votes on agendas since 1998. He has assembled some statistics that should be checked with one’s own count before doubting his. Just remember that a good vs. a bad decision is in the eye of the beholder, and the types of issues being voted on do have a bearing on these statistics.
These are his counts:
Since 1998 – 2,730 decisions were made by the council.
Of these – 91.21% were unanimous this dropped to 85% during election years.
Of the remaining, 5.2% were with one dissenting vote.
There were 3.46% that were split.
81% of the remaining 3.46 votes were by the bloc of Seyarto, McAllister and VanHaaster.

Did he use unanimous motions and seconds on consent calendar items for his percentages????

And the citizens of Murrieta are asking themselves why you continue to think we are all so ignorant. We really don't need a "study" to tell us why you shouldn't be recalled and why it is your favorite subject - Warnie Enoch's fault.

If people choose to remain anonymous, that is their privilege. The issues are too crowded with non-issues like who told what to whom, personal animosities, or "statement ownership". if the comment is valid that is good enough.
At issue here is what a substantial number of Murrietans saw as an unresponsive city council. These "lies" allegedly told by RM for signatures have yet to be specifically identified by anyone who would refute them. If they were lies, then the truth would be a slam-dunk to RM. This proof has not materialized, it has been successfully masked in a torrent of hogwash.
Murrietans have stood at the sidelines and watched the the Murrieta that they know turn into a place where money and greed are all that is deemed important. We have watched this city become more crowded and more broken down under the current council, and that also is enough.

Very succinctly put.

I fear that this comment is posted way too late to matter, but I'll do it anyway.
"Succinctly put" maybe, but filled with validated information? No. It has the same problems that I see with most of the RM allegations. Lots of proclaiming about "gridlock" and dire statements about the degradation of Murrieta, but little detail.
Compare Murrieta to all of the communities around - it's in better shape and a better place to live. I chose Murrieta over Temecula in some part because traffic in Temecula is horrendous. Same story for Lake Elsinore.
I have seen Kelly Seyarto in action at council meetings. I will stipulate that he can be condescending, dismissive and rude. However, for one, that is not a reason for recall, and second, on this blog he has been well-spoken, justifies his explanations and has backed it up with data that no one has even attempted to refute. This is the most telling counterargument to the hate and smear that many members of RM spew forth. Over 95% of council votes in the past 7 years have been at least 4-1! Less than 3% have been 3-2 and, keep in mind, McAllister had only been on the council for a few months so there's NO WAY that those 3-2 splits were all the "3 amigos". Were they Brian Youens? Or others? JL Kunkle, you should know better than to make statements of that type.
